Louth Chamber of Business has for over half a century promoted our historic market town as an attractive, friendly and competitively priced place to visit, shop and do business.
LCB membership is made up of a wide variety of retailers, suppliers and service providers in and around Louth, and we promote both our members and Louth business in general, and represent their interest both locally and in the district and county. We are committed to preserving Louth as a thriving and prosperous market town.
LCB has over the years supported a variety of events designed to attract visitors to the town. The Sunday Christmas Market which was started by LCB but is now run by others is still a very popular attraction.
LCB raised the £25,000 needed to put up the town’s Christmas Illuminations - a seasonal display which enlivens the town centre each year during the Christmas season.
LCB works with Louth Town Council, East Lindsey District Council, Lincolnshire Police and others to address local issues and ensure that Louth remains a vibrant and attractive place for people to visit, shop and do business. Louth richly deserves its crown as ‘Capital of the Wolds’. We are lucky enough to be perched on the edge of the only Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the East Midlands, and have for many years been regarded as a treasured place to live and work in an increasingly industrialised world. Louth may in the past have been a ‘best kept secret’ location but it is now recognised nationally for its quality of life, quality of local produce, friendliness of locals and variety of activities – music, theatre, sport and much more.
I invite you to visit Louth to find out for yourself. LCB can be contacted via this website if you require any further information about us or any of our members.
